Surprising someone on their birthday is a challenge, but surprising VO on her 19th birthday is another level of challenge. But what can I say? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
VO turned 19 last October 23rd. I remember when I was 19, I spent it packing my luggage and heading down south to the Guimaras Islands. No birthday cake but my first plane ride experience was just perfect. Now, what can I do to make it quite the same experience for her?
Our first plan is kidnapping her and having an overnight on a nearby hot spring resort. Yes, complete with the bad goons, get away car and chloroform. But then again, we hafta make sure she doesn't have any idea on what she's doing nearby a local pool on a cold evening. So we scratch it off.
Then an idea came to mind. (And yes, I was whacked at the face when I entered planet Vlogons) Why not make the photoshoot on the 23rd to this little Ecopark at the next town. Most of them agreed, but someone suggested that we do it on the 22nd so the celebrant wouldn't have any suspicion. I said, okay. Let's do this. The plan is set, we go to the Ecopark for a photoshoot, then surprise her with cake, streamers and food!
And this is what happened - awesomeness happened.
