Recent Acquisitions (December)

Okay, so I love to shop though I'm not exactly born with a silver spoon on my mouth, but I do love to discover some nice, functional, preferably pink, rare random finds with some loose basis on particular pop culture references about my current obsessions. In Layman's term, whatever available item I could afford.

Here are some of my recent acquisitions from the World Bazaar Festival, an annual gathering of bazaars in the benefit of ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc., that will be open from December 7th to the 23rd. Here it goes.

A little novelty item that I happen to love. A pink camera keychain that flashes like an actual camera. Pretty nifty and girly for a camera girl like me. I bought it from one of the booths inside but I sorta forgot the name of the store. They sell really cute items such as novelty bookmarks, sketchbooks and a TV version of this little nutter.

Now for some make-up finds. I always look out for the nifty, cute and affordable brands. Make-ups doesn't need to be expensive, only effective. Though I do invest in BB creams in particular and some really good eye-make up.

Pixie Dust Compact Perfume.
I bought this nifty item for just Php 100.00 at booth number 168 or Suds Market.
They sell scented everything - soaps, perfumes and body washes - all of them, smells amazing.
And it is also a sure fire way to smell good without breaking your piggy bank.
Shijing Temperature Lipstick.
It's one of those cheap make-up brands that you can buy at any bazaar.
I dunno about you but the cute design works for me.
And look what have we got here: Maybelline Colossal Volum Express Mascara.
I've bought one before for about Php500.00 but got this little baby for just Php100.00.
I love the word SALE. Don't you?
Pink hooped earrings~!
Got these pair for just Php100.00.
I've hated hooped earrings because it reminds me of a cheap look.
But couple it with the perfect match of hair and make-up, you could look like a million-dollar heartbreaker.

Now, let's talk about gadgets. Other than being vain, I am also quite fond of gadget-y stuff (Sorry, no Sonic Screwdriver). But I am a parent to half a dozen gadgets out there in the market and I know my way around them and their corresponding softwares.

Colorful Wire Snap-ons.
I bought a pack of these items for Php70.00 because I have issues with wires.
They don't seem to cooperate with me.
I have to restrain them before those wires decide to electrocute me.
Pink Experia USB connector.
Price: Php150.00
Did I mention I love pink? I bought this for my Wacom Tablet but to my dismay,
the support for the little head of the connector doesn't fit to my Tablet.
I might buy a pipe or bendee to be able to use this. Or just use it as it is - a charger.
Styluses~! Well, 2 of them.
The Pink one is a high sensitive stylus for iPhones but I'm gonna be using it for  my tablet. Price: Php25.00
The Blue one is a retractable stylus. Not as sensitive as the pink one, but I guess, I imagined that it is my own
version of the Tenth Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver. Price: Php300.00
(A rip off because I bought it before the bazaar event, and I'm devastated that it works hellishly awful.)
A Sketchbook~!
Price: Php150.00
I bought this in a papier stall. They sell all kinds of paper-based items like:
sketchpads, journals and calendars.
There was a Pink one, but I decided to get a blue one to imitate River Song's Tardis journal.
TRESE 5
(This is not from the World Bazaar, but I'm including it anyway.)
I've been reading Trese for 3 years now (I think). And I've been following it fondly
since then. I'm such a fan, that two of my Trese Comics were signed by the writer.
And last but certainly not the least, one of my priced acquisitions and best ideas to date - a customized T-shirt from Transfer it Prints. They customize shirts according to your designs. But being the pathetic fan girl that I am, I ordered them to print out something from my tablet (I take pride in myself in keeping copies of certain photos from my obsessions) to print out and be made into a shirt.

This is a SHERLOCK inspired T-shirt.
Stemming from its origins of BBC's Sherlock series , first episode of season 2
"A Scandal in Belgravia" where Sherlock meets "The Woman" Irene Adler.
This is quite the spoiler for this unlocks Irene Adler's mobile phone.
You should watch the series to know how Sherlock cracked the code.
And what kind of fan girl am I if I didn't print out  a shirt of the most remarkable series of all time?
DOCTOR WHO
Well, actually, this is Eleventh's logo. But I think this best describes the series because,
it is the only logo that has the TARDIS on it.
(And that's the only Doctor Who logo that I have on my tablet for print out. Ehe~!)
NOTE: I don't intend to massively produce these shirts or make money out of it.
It is just a fan girl's passion inflamed. I'll be just happy showing my shirt off.
